Red-ruby color. Black cherry, minerals, spices and wild herbs on the nose. Supple but a bit youthfully clenched, with excellent energy to the mineral and spice flavors. Not a powerful style, but delicate, elegant and long, with a dusty, fine-grained finish featuring late notes of licorice and minerals. This one will require a good six to eight years of cellaring.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
